Auction Rules

 

1.  Fish and plants only.  The only dry goods to be auctioned will be from our vendors’ donations.  ABSOLUTELY NO POND PLANTS..

2.  Registration is from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2008.

3.  Auction starts at noon.

4.  Entries limited to 5 of any one color variety of a species.

5.  Bags must be clearly labeled with species name, number of fish, sex if known, and sellers name, phone number or e-mail address.

6.  The four dot color system will be used.

7.  Fish must be in proper fish bags.  NO BAGGIES OR ZIP LOCK BAGS WILL BE PERMITTED.  Double bagging is encouraged.

8.  ABSOLUTELY NO DISEASED OR DEFORMED FISH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

9.  All sales are final.  BUYER BEWARE.

10.  Fish from the show to be auctioned will be so designated at the time of registration.  They will be tagged for the duration of the show.

11.  Any item that does not sell for a minimum bid of $1.00 will be considered a donation to YATFS.

12.  Auction split will be 70/30 with 70% to the seller and 30% to YATFS.

13.  Express bidding will be available at a cost of $2.00 per item.  Express bidding does not guarantee winning the item at auction.
